A Community coffee morning for everyone. Come along to our community annexe and enjoy a cuppa, some company and a selection of pastries and treats kindly donated from Washington Community Food Project.

This is a free event but donations are kindly accepted and used towards continuing this provision.

This service has contemporary music, traditional hymns, scripture readings and prayer weekly. It is a very family friendly service and we are relaxed and informal at all our 10am services.

Sunday school usually takes place on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of the month.

Once a month (usually the 2nd Sunday of the month) is a family together service which is informal, accessible and suitable for all ages.

There is no dress code, come as you are. The service is as inclusive as possible, the service and hymns are projected onto a big screen and the audio is amplified.

Every week there is a colouring table and a small selection of toys at the rear of the main worship area for your use if needed.

A service of praise taking place every Sunday afternoon at 4pm.

The programme alternates between between; informal worship, evening prayer and holy communion.

As we grieve, we find strength in the shared stories and memories that bind us.

We meet every Monday at 3pm to 4.30pm (excluding bank holidays) in our café community room, where our group offers friendship and fellowship with a genuine concern for your wellbeing. We chat over a cuppa and cover topics of interest where we can feel relaxed and cared for.

A weekly group for babies and preschool toddlers held in the main church building. Offering a wide selection of educational and fun learning toys and with a range of early year centred activities available this friendly and welcoming community group has limited spaces so if you are interested in joining the group please contact the church office (0191 415 4200) and request to be added to the waiting list.

Refreshments are provided mid way through the session for both children and parents.

There is a modest charge of £2/w for this event to contribute towards the purchasing of refreshments and the updating and maintenance of equipment.

Whether you're a seasoned pro or you've never even picked a Ukulele up, come and join our Ukulele band on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. A friendly group who meet in the community annexe at 1.30pm.

Any skill level is welcome and you're sure to find you quickly get the hang of it.

An informal service of prayers and readings, usually including Holy Communion, followed by refreshments in the community café space.

There is an unstaffed craft table at the rear of the main worship area to help entertain children if necessary.

We partner with Active Families North East who run an 'Easy Exercise' class aimed at those of us who are less mobile or elderly.

The group is currently running on Thursday Mornings at 9.30am and is held in the community annexe.

Our youth group runs on Thursdays between 4pm and 6pm in the Community Annexe. It is a vibrant group for young people aged 11-18.

The group is a safe place for young people to talk about issues they face, build friendships, have some fun, occasionally watch films, play games and think more about who Jesus is, who God is and what he wants of us. The group is free to attend and an evening meal, prepared on site, is provided to all who attend. All adults have up to date DBS checks.

Come along and join the fun at Men's Hub, running 6.30pm to 9.30pm on the first Thursday of the month. A great group of diverse, gregarious gents in a setting decked out with games and activities. Thake part in; Darts, Indoor Bowls, Pool, Table Football, Board Games, Table tennis or just sit and chat while having a drink. There is also a quiet space available.

Tea and Coffee are provided free of charge, other soft drinks are available to be purchased from the Café. You are more than welcome to bring your own alcohol if you'd like, we just can't sell you it! A hearty hot meal is also provided along with some thought provoking discussions and interviews. No commitment needed, pop along and see for yourself.

A Community lunch club open to everyone taking place on the second Wednesday of every month.

Come and enjoy a freshly prepared two course meal and enjoy a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment to meet new people and enjoy some company.

Please book through The Table Café to ensure we cater for everyone. There is a small cost of £7 per meal, please pay this to The Table Café by the Monday before the meal.
