As we grieve, we find strength in the shared stories and memories that bind us.

We meet every Monday at 3pm to 4.30pm (excluding bank holidays) in our café community room, where our group offers friendship and fellowship with a genuine concern for your wellbeing. We chat over a cuppa and cover topics of interest where we can feel relaxed and cared for.

These are some comments from the group:

- I feel so grateful to the group for the help and support I have received at this time and so glad I joined. Thank you

- I have discovered – being recently bereaved myself that a group of persons with similar loss, is very helpful. Freedom to talk is helpful when like-minded people can give vent to their feelings. It’s not just having a non-judgmental group who will let you express your grief; it is also the companionship that continues.

- The group has been a big help. You are not alone.

- It was 6 months after losing my husband and I was really struggling. I then decided to come along to the bereavement group. It really helped me a lot. It is good to share your thoughts with others in the same situation and it’s all confidential. I am so pleased I joined and made lovely friends.

-We thank God for the support we have for each other in the Bereavement Support Group and the help we receive.

- I would recommend this group for bereavement to anyone who thinks they need help. I have been helped so much it is unbelievable, you are not judged, you are not questioned, you are listened to and advised and helped. It has helped me so much in a short period of time. Listening to other people’s experiences makes me realise I am not losing the plot and I am going through what everybody else go through. They are brilliant.
