Outwell: St Clement
St Clement's Church, Outwell, is located on the banks of Welle Creek at the centre of this village. It has many important historic features, including twelve unique carvings in the roof of the nave. These have excited historians since publication in 2012, of their 2005 discovery.
Unfortunately the Church is closed to the public at the moment as investigations of the roof timbers are currently underway.
However, the porch is still being used weekly for short services & coffee mornings, as well as for fund raising events during the year. For details please see 'Services and Events' and 'News and Notices' pages.
Upwell, St Peter's has regular services, details of which can be seen on their "A Church Near You" pages.
For further details about any of these events or for Baptisms, weddings or funeral, please contact us through our 'Get in Touch' page or Revd. Daphne Calvert, Associate Priest on 01945 772171.
