A rural parish, with mainly an agricultural heritage, Redmarley has a population approx. 700.  Together with the parishes of   Bromsberrow, Donnington, Dymock, Kemply, Oxenhall,  Pauntley,  Preston,  and Upleadon it is within the Leadon Vale Benefice of the Diocese of Gloucester.
