Here at St John’s Churchdown and Innsworth, we are delighted to welcome families as they begin their journey of faith. Baptism, sometimes called Christening, is the same service in which a child (or adult) is welcomed into the Christian faith and the life of the Church.
If you would like to have your child baptised, please complete a Baptism Booking Form, which you can download below.
We hold Baptism Preparation Sessions and Baptism Services regularly. Baptisms may also take place during our weekly Sunday 10am service.
You will be invited to a preparation session or to meet with a member of our clergy, who will talk through the service with you and answer any questions you may have.
