About Us

Looking for St Andrews - Sempringham? It has its' own page at

Christchurch is a Victorian "Mission Church" in the village of Pointon - built in 1893 to support the work of the Parish Church at Sempringham.
A very active small village church, Christchurch hosts a weekly Tuesday morning coffee morning as well as a fortnightly Thursday night drop-in and regular Sunday worship.
Furnished with modern upholstered chairs and electric heating, this "tin tabernacle" is multi-use and relevent to its community.

In 2012 we added a toilet extention and in 2016 we rebuilt the north aisle and added a servery. Slightly unexpectantly, in 2017, we replaced the roof (some leaks have a way of forcing your hand).

Our latest venture "Treasure Seekers" is our own take on Messy Church - mixing worship with crafts, teaching and food. Aimed at primary kids to bring their family to ( ! ) we hold 8 sessions a year, from 3:00-5:00pm, on Sunday afternoons.

Worship includes Common Worship Communion & Evening Worship and our own brand of monthly "Cafe Church". Above all - we try to worship with joy. If you're in the area - give us a try.
