Messy Church is continuing in our villages!
We are planning our fifth exciting session of Messy Church across our group.
The principle behind Messy Church is that it is a very fun and informal form of church consisting of craft activities based around a Bible reading/theme, followed by a short period of celebration (an activity, singing, some prayers), and a meal together. It is welcoming for people of all ages, but is particularly suitable for families with young children - and the adults stay with the children, thereby also having the chance to get to know more about Jesus and to get to know each other.
We are planning to have one session a month on a Sunday afternoon from 3-5pm, and for this to take place in different villages, either in Church or in the Village Hall whichever works best as a venue. Just as we are all getting more used to travelling around to worship in each others’ churches, we hope that the ‘Messy Church congregation’ will go to wherever Messy Church is being held that month.
This exciting fifth session is booked for Sunday 13th January from 3pm - 5pm in Greatford Village Hall
Now lots of pleases!
Please…. feel welcome to come along and join in if you would like to.
Please…. tell your friends and invite anyone who you think would be interested.
Please…. volunteer to help if you can - we need people to welcome families, people to help run crafts, people to help with catering and people to help set up and clear up.
