Stixwould Village Hall saw eight teams battle it out to win the coveted first place in the special quiz, organised to raise money to carry out essential repairs at St. Peter's Church.

The Benniworth Brains were the proud winners! It was a great evening, made better thanks to the raffle prizes kindly donated, and cakes made by Margaret Forman which were served during the interval.

After a general knowledge round, a tough fashion-related round followed, then it was an audio round - where the teams had to work out the TV show by the theme tune. After the interval, a paper round then led to a James Bond round, then the quiz was finished off with a Trivial Pursuit based round.

Thanks to an amazing donation by the team at the Stockshill Caravan Park, we were able to raise just shy of £400. A recent generous £100 donation means that the work to the church can now be progressed.
