St Nicholas' Halewood
Both of our churches are now open for Sunday and mid week worship. Services will be as follows:
St Mary’s 10.30am on Sunday mornings
St Nicholas' 11am and 6.30pm on Sunday evenings
Zoom service at 8pm on Wednesdays
St Nicholas’ 9.15 am on Thursday mornings
We are aware that the lifting of restrictions will not be happy news for everyone. Some of you will be feeling anxious about gathering again. We want to look after each other and help everyone to feel comfortable in attending church, and so although it is no longer necessary to pre-book a place, the following safety measures will be in place: we strongly advise that everyone continues to wear a mask unless you have a medical exemption; hand sanitiser will still be available at the door; we encourage people to sit with an empty seat between their family/bubble and the next person/group, and avoid shaking hands etc; services will continue to be short and people are encouraged to catch up with each other outside, to limit the amount of time we are gathered together inside; for track and trace we will still have a QR code by the door, and those who wish to leave their details can do so, although it will not be compulsory.
Please be thoughtful about how you interact with other people and respect the person on the receiving end - some may still want to keep a good distance and that’s okay!
For details of how to get a link for the zoom service please ring the Halewood Parish Office. We are also continuing with wedding and funeral services but there are limits on numbers able to attend. We are now holding vestry time again for booking baptism or wedding services, and signing school admission forms. Please look on our website for vestry times and dates.
Please note, many of our church children’s and adults groups are now reopening. For more information contact the named person for that group or activity - details on our website.
