WE ARE STILL CONDUCTING BAPTISMS IN CHURCH, BUT PLEASE NOTE THAT SUCH SERVICES ARE SUBJECT TO THE VARIOUS RESTRICTIONS IN THE LIGHT OF THE ONGOING CORONAVIRUS EPIDEMIC. PLEASE CONTACT US USING THE 'GET IN TOUCH' PAGE TO DISCUSS YOUR REQUIREMENTS, AND THE LATEST RESTRICTIONS.
Baptisms, also known as Christenings, are held once every three months, in a special service on Saturday afternoon. Before your child's baptism, you will be expected to attend two preparations sessions, which will give you an introduction to the Christian faith, and let you know what to expect at the service. It will also give you a chance to get to know the leadership team at All Saints. You will also be invited to one of our All Age services, where you and your child, and godparents if they wish to attend, will be introduced to our congregation.
Baptism is a joyful occasion, when we not only thank God for the presence of a child in our lives, but welcome them into the family of the Church. To find out more about baptism in the Church of England, why not visit the webpage dedicated to them at :
Adults who come to faith later in life may also be baptised, as long as they were not baptised as a child. Please ask a member of the team about this.
