St Andrew's is the parish church serving north Orford in the Borough of Warrington. From humble beginnings, worshipping in people's homes, the church grew, and a fine modern building was completed in 1963. St Andrew's lies at the heart of a council estate built after the War.
St Andrew's is liberal catholic in tradition and our worship is principally Eucharistic. Our main act of worship is the Sung Eucharist at 10.00am on Sundays. The congregation is made up of friendly people and newcomers are always welcome. We look forward to meeting you.
"The parish of Orford: St Andrew is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Liverpool’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
