Accessible car parking

Entrance from Howson Road / car park provides access without steps. There is a ramp from the side of the building to the man doors. The church is mostly on one level, with only the chancel up three steps. Communion is administered on the main floor level or in the pew if preferred (please let us know before the beginning of the service). There are 'cut-outs' in the pews to accommodate two wheelchairs.

Hearing (induction) Loop

Sheets are provided each week for everyone, together with hymn books. Large print versions are available. Other formats on request (preferably in advance).

Built in 1963, it is a modern, airy, spacious building that enhances worship.


Music and Worship

Organ

Sings at the Sunday morning service and rehearses fortnightly on Tuesday evenings. We welcome singers to join an 'augmented choir' to sing at the Carol Service.


Groups, Courses and Activities

Meets on Friday evenings from 6.00 - 7.15pm in the Church Hall next to the church (same postcode)

Meets on Thursday evenings from 6.30 - 8.00pm in the Church Hall next to the church (same postcode)

MJ Fitness hold a Zumba Class on Mondays from 7.00pm in the Church Hall

There is a Modern Sequence Dance Group that meets on Monday afternoons from 2.00 - 4.00pm in the Church Hall (same postcode as church). Dancers and non-dancers welcome.

Tuesday Toddlers meets on Tuesday mornings during term time from 9.00 - 11.00am

Meets on Friday evenings from 7.30 - 9.30pm in the Church Hall next to the church (same postcode)

In addition to groups that provide special activities for young people, we run a confirmation club for those interested in confirmation and those who have been confirmed already. It meets on Wednesday afternoons during term time.
Other activities include: Palms School of Dance Group - on Tuesday afternoons from 5pm www.palmsschoolofdance.co.uk/ ; Taikwon Do - on Wednesday from 6.00 - 7.00pm deden-tkd.co.uk ; Messy Play - on Thursday morning from 10.00 - 11.00am


Help for Visitors

We run a Charity Shop in the Church Hall on Wednesdays from 9.30am - 2.45pm
