Mother's Union is an international organisation , with a membership of over 4 million in 80 countries. Membership is open to anyone who has been baptised into the Christian faith, male and female regardless of age.
Newchurch branch meet the fourth Tuesday in the month at 2pm in the parish hall. All welcome.

Come and join the coffee-drinking community of Culcheth at the regular coffee mornings on Wednesdays between 9.30am and 11.30am in Newchurch Parish Hall. All are welcome.

This is a time for play, story-time , music and prayer. Suitable for preschool children 4 years and under with their carer.
£1.50 for one child and carer, 50p per extra child
We only limit numbers attending when there is too little space for anymore!

Our Christmas Fayre will be on Saturday 29th November in the Parish Hall. If you could give some time on that day to run a stall or help on a stall for just a few hours you will be helping your church.
Your help is also needed on the Friday evening before, to set up the stalls.
Donations for stalls can be left in the boxes in the porch.

At 10.30a.m in each of our three churches there will be a Celtic Communion Service with the opportunity of prayers for healing and with anointing.

In conjunction with the Celtic Service of Healing on Sunday 30th November we will be having out annual Toy service when we bring wrapped gifts and place them under the big tree. The presents will be taken to the Warrington Borough Council Toy appeal.
You can bring toys up to the end of the Christmas Tree Festival on Sunday 14th December.

On Advent Sunday - 30th November at 4pm - Churches Together celebrates “Carols in the Courtyard” aka The Rectory driveway
Please join us for a little bit of carol singing with handbell accompaniment, mulled wine & mince pies
During this event we will be sending a small nativity off on its Posada journey around our church families.
Everyone is welcome !

The choir has started rehearsals for the Carol Service on 21st December. We would welcome more singers, in all voice parts. If you would like to sing with us at this annual event please come along to practices on Monday evenings between 7.30pm and 8.30in the Family Room. Thanks.

Having started on the 6th of Feb the Bereavement Group will continue to meet every First Thursday at Culcheth Library 2p.m -4p.m
Tea, coffee, biscuits, and chat starting 6th February for all who are bereaved or lonely.

Posada means a hotel or inn in Spanish and is a way of celebrating Advent and bringing home to us the journey that the Holy Family had to make to Bethlehem prior to the birth of Jesus. This year beginning on the first Sunday in Advent (30th Nov) we will be celebrating Posada.

During the celebration which originated in South America a small Nativity travels around households in the community, staying at a different house each night.

Having visited families from other churches in the area, during the second week the nativity will visit families from
Christ Church Croft during week7th - 13th December
then having visited families from another church during the 3rd week will come to
Newchurch during week 21st -24th December finishing its journey at the Crib Service.
