It is estimated that only around 30 couples in the UK celebrate their 70th (platinum) wedding anniversary each year. This rare milestone means reaching seven decades of marriage is a one-in-a-million occurrence, eligible for a special message from The Royal Family.

Eric and Barbara Runcorn from St Oswald's, Winwick will be celebrating this significant and rare milestone in their lives at the beginning of September. There will be a special service of Thanksgiving in St Oswald's Church on Sunday 6th September starting at 12.15pm. To enable friends from across our three parishes to join Eric and Barbara for this service there will shortened 10.30am services in each of our three churches.
