The Last Hour service (with ante-communion) is a solemn time to reflect on the final moments of Jesus’ life on the cross. Through readings, prayers, hymns and silence, we remember his sacrifice. There is also an opportunity to place a nail in the large wooden cross, a powerful reminder of our sins and Christ’s love for us.
