Each Sunday there will be a Service of the Word or Holy Communion. We have an All Age Service on the 3rd Sunday each month. On the 5th Sunday we have a Service of Healing Prayer.
We welcome children to our services and those who wish to attend our church schools in Westhoughton. We have activities they can do during the service.
Refreshments are served after the service.

We will be holding our Christmas Fair on Saturday 15th November between 11am & 1pm. Free admission.
Carr's Pasties will be on sale and J.E.T. will be playing lots of Christmas music. And not forgetting Santa - £4 a visit.
If you are able to donate chocolate, full wine bottles, raffle and tombola prizes, childrens used toys and childrens books they would all be very welcome.
Donation box will be in the foyer till Sunday 9th November. Fresh cakes can be donated day before/on the day.
Ignite Youth Westhoughton NB November event starts at 6pm instead of 7pm as it's a film night.
Food, fun and faith for Year 6 and above. Please come and join us each month between 7-8.30pm at St John’s Church Wingates.

We hold a regular men's breakfast each month at 9 am and last approx 1 to 1.5 hours.
It is a time for our men to meet up over a hearty breakfast and every 2/3 months they will invite a guest along to share with them.
Please come along and join the men at this regular event.
Please join us at 10.30am on the first Saturday of the month for a Chit Chat n' Brew. We serve cakes and refreshments.
This month we are celebrating Fair Trade and there will be a table of things to purchase inside the main church.
We are also having a Macmillan Coffee morning and all money from the refreshments and raffle will be given to the charity.

We are also available in Church for Baptism Appointments between 10:30 & 11:30.
Our annual Toy Service will take place on Sunday 7th December at 9.30am.
Our collection will be in aid of Fortalice, our local women and children's refuge. Diane Hawkins will be joining us to share some of the valuable services that Fortalice provides.
All new toys or gifts gratefully received for children or teenagers. Please leave them unwrapped.
Refreshments will be served after the service.
