Each Sunday there will be a Service of the Word or Holy Communion. We have an All Age Service on the 3rd Sunday each month. On the 5th Sunday we have a Service of Healing Prayer. Our Children’s Church is part of the Sunday services and happens on the 2nd & 4th Sundays of the month.

Regular updates will be given on our parish pew sheet (available on request), websites and social media platforms along with other information.

Please join us on Sunday 15th June at 9.30am for a special service to celebrate the 1700th anniversary of the Nicene Creed.

We will be launching the "We Believe" booklets and encouraging everyone to focus on the creed for the next 4 weeks.

Please join us every Wednesday for Talkin’ Tables between 10.30am & 11.30am.

Why not come along for a hot drink and biscuit/cake - meet other people for chat and friendship.

Ignite Youth Westhoughton

Food, fun and worship for Year 6 and above. Please come and join us each month between 7-8.30pm at St John’s Church Wingates. Please note: Saturday 12th July will be our BBQ and will start at 6pm.

Our Children’s Church is held as part of our Sunday services on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. We have fun doing activities with the children.

We hold a regular men's breakfast each month at 9 am and last approx 1 to 1.5 hours.

It is a time for our men to meet up over a hearty breakfast and every 2/3 months they will invite a guest along to share with them.

Please come along and join the men at this regular event.

Please join us at 10.30am on the first Saturday of the month for a Chit Chat n' Brew. We serve cakes and refreshments.
This is a fund raising cafe for the church and we hope you can join us!

We are also available in Church for Baptism Appointments between 10:30 & 11:30.
