We will update everyone on what has happened in St John’s Wingates over 2025. Hopefully a time to celebrate all God has done and continues to do.

Refreshments served before the meeting from around 10.30 am

The Psalms can make our hearts soar, yet can also accompany us through our darkest moments too. Come and meet together with others, to explore what they have to teach us about God and ourselves. All welcome.

Our young people are holding a café in St John's Wingates Church for people across all our communities in Blackrod, Daisy Hill, Westhoughton and Wingates. It's for people who want somewhere to meet up to chat or play board & card games. And of course, tea and cake will be served!
All welcome. Bring a friend.

Each Sunday there will be a Service of the Word or Holy Communion. We have a Morning Praise service on the 3rd Sunday each month. On the 5th Sunday we have a Service of Healing Prayer.

We welcome children to our services and those who wish to attend our church schools in Westhoughton. We have activities they can do during the service.

Refreshments are served after the service.

Regular updates will be given on our parish pew sheet (available on request), websites and social media platforms along with other information.

We hold a regular men's breakfast each month at 9 am and last approx 1 to 1.5 hours.

It is a time for our men to meet up over a hearty breakfast and every 2/3 months they will invite a guest along to share with them.

Please come along and join the men at this regular event.

Please do come and join us for coffee and refreshments.

We are collecting food donations for Westhoughton Assist. Refreshments available, raffle, cards and books in aid of church funds.

We will also be taking appointments for baptisms between 10.30-11.30 am.

Food, fun and faith for Year 6 and above. Please come and join us each month between 7-8.30pm at St John’s Church Wingates.
