Church of England Diocese of Newcastle Longframlington with Brinkburn

St Mary's Longframlington

Welcome to St Mary's, the parish church for the parish of Longframlington with Brinkburn.  With a church building that dates back to around 1190 AD, and original Norman arches, the building has been substantially altered over the years, including major building work done by the Victorians in the 19th century.  A new community room was added in 2012, providing a home for church and village activities for all ages, and a venue to chat over coffee after the Sunday services  The active 21st century congregation includes both Northumbrians and those who have moved to the area to work or to retire, and plays a big part in the life of the village.
