Green Shoots Day

If you have some time tomorrow (Saturday 12th) do pop over to St James. There are a variety of events throughout the day - something for everyone.

There will be displays from St James Green Group and Shilbottle Colliery Wood; outdoor yoga (weather permitting) and a Shilbottle nature - based photography competition. A local stone mason will also demonstrate lettering.

There will be various stalls including; plants, second hand books on the natural world and local history, recycled and new greetings cards and information stands for various local groups and refreshments available for the whole day and musical entertainment as follows;

Music through the day - free
11.30am (outside) Northumbrian Pipers
11.40am (inside) Bill Watt will be singing a selection of Geordie songs
1.00pm (inside) Northumbrian Pipers
2.00pm (inside) Bill Watt will be singing a selection of Geordie songs
2.30pm (inside) Pete and his band - including accompanied ballads

Evening Entertainment - 7pm (inside) Andy Craig will take us on a Northumbrian journey combining photography and music. £8 in advance or on the door (see poster below for further details)

We hope the day will bring together those already involved in working towards a more sustainable future, and those who want to learn more and be encouraged by what is already happening in and around St James and locally.

Church Guidebook

The church is open daily throughout the year for visitors and individual prayer. Prayers left by our visitors are offered at our regular services.
There are a wide range of services throughout the week (formal and informal) in church, on-line and by telephone. Warkworth is part of the benefice of Acklington, Shilbottle & Warkworth.
