Brinkburn Priory

Welcome to Brinkburn Priory!  The building, now in the care of English Heritage, is no longer used for daily or weekly services, but remains a consecrated building, and a wonderful venue with superb acoustics for worship, and the location for occasional special services such as marriages and marriage blessings, services at Christian festivals, and the LifePath event for schoolchildren every summer.

Because of COVID-19, Brinkburn has had restrictions on visitor access over the past two years.  It is currently closed for the winter but will reopen from 1st April. Advance booking is no longer a requirement but is recommended to avoid delays and get the best admission prices.  During the season, from April to October, Brinkburn is normally open to visitors on bank holidays and daily except Monday and Tuesday, between 10:00 and 17:00.  However, see the English Heritage website for current information

Regular weekly services are normally held at St Mary's Church in Longframlington,  Some past services can be seen on our YouTube channel. To receive our weekly pew sheet, with the Sunday readings and the latest news, sign up by emailing [email protected]
