Church of England Diocese of Newcastle Longframlington with Brinkburn

Brinkburn Priory

Welcome to Brinkburn Priory!  The building is no longer used for daily or weekly services, but remains a consecrated building, a wonderful venue for worship, and the location for occasional special services such as marriages and marriage blessings, services at Christian festivals, and the LifePath event for schoolchildren every summer.

Because of COVID-19, Brinkburn was closed to visitors earlier this summer, but English Heritage opened it from 4th July.  Advance booking, via the English Heritage website, is necessary so that English Heritage can minimise any risks to visitors from potential overcrowding

Regular weekly services are normally held at St Mary's Church in Longframlington.  St Mary's has now reopened for private prayer and, from 15th July, for small services on Sunday evening and Wednesday morning, but we are continuing to stream our main Sunday morning Service of the Word through our YouTube channel. We are also providing weekly newsletters in place of the normal pew sheet: sign up to receive this by emailing [email protected]
