The formal notice is pinned to the door of St Mary’s Church stating that the Peterborough Diocesan Mission and Pastoral Committee propose to rearrange parishes within the Daventry Deanery. Everdon will be removed from the Weedon and Dodford group and be added to the five existing Knightley Parishes. Weedon and Dodford will be added to the existing Heyford group.
The vicarage at Badby will be retained for the incumbent of the enlarged Knightley Parishes when eventually one has been appointed.
