2. Car parking

As is common with many old villages the layout of the roads are not ideal for the volume of vehicles that are now using them! Parking around St Mary's Church is particularly difficult.

We ask that you park carefully after taking into consideration access to neighbouring properties. In particular we ask that you do not park east of the south gate because the road outside the Old House is particularly narrow and there have been at least two incidents when an emergency ambulance has been delayed getting to a needy neighbour.

Everyone can get into the church without any steps from the south gate. For passengers who have difficulty in walking, please drop them off at the south gate and then park. There is usually a safe space to park in the lower part of the village.
