Tuition with tied clappers for initial bell control is available by arrangement to start at 6.45pm. Normal practice is from 7.30pm - 9pm. Attendance averages 11. We haven't yet ventured back to the Maltsters Arms after the Covid lockdowns. We have abandoned, for the time being, the Covid precautions but anyone is welcome to wear a face cover if they wish.
We can again teach new recruits, especially to help celebrate The Queen's Platinum Jubilee in June. So come and see us on Wednesday or phone 01327 871806.
We hope we can return to former situation very soon and recruit some more villagers
Do join us if you can – you will be sure of a warm welcome although appropriate precautions to reduce the spread of coronavirus will be in place.
EVENING SERVICE OF THE WORD
Try the Evening Service of The Word for the Knightley Parishes - held once a month on Tuesday evening (following the third Sunday of the month) at 6 30pm. This friendly, peaceful service lasts no longer than 25 minutes. Led in turn by some of those who attend, there is always a brief talk about somebody inspirational.
Tea & Meet
Have you ever thought that you haven't seen anyone for a while or just need an excuse to get out of the house for an hour? Drop in to the village hall for a cup of tea with delicious home-made cakes perhaps before collecting the children from school. Great cakes. Great company. Great gossip! Come along and join the fun. Cakes gratefully received. Appropriate coronavirus precautions will be in place - face coverings until you sit down.

SCARECROW FESTIVAL WEEKEND - September 9 - 11
Throughout the village.
Get your thinking hats on, it's time to start thinking about making a Scarecrow.
The annual Scarecrow Festival will run from 9-11 September 2022, we hope there will be even more scarecrows than in previous years, perhaps every road in Badby can field at least one? We'll be holding the usual festivities on Sunday 11th - fun dog show, stalls, teas, hopefully children's games, and of course prizegiving for the winning scarecrows.
We'll be contacting anyone who's helped in previous years and would love to welcome new volunteers to help make it a really nice, welcoming event for the village, with proceeds going to St Mary's.
More details to come in The Link and on the Badby Community Support Facebook page, or contact Jim or Ruth McBeth on 07717 414664 / 07591 166551.
