“I do hope you are well. I am writing in the hope that we could interest you in attending a delightful fashion show to be held on Friday 17th April at 7.00 for 7.30. p.m., for which tickets @ £5 each are on sale now. Hopefully this will be a fun event, designed with women in mind, but men will be very welcome to attend.

This event is being held in St. Peter’s church which already has a natural “runway” and will be presented by SOS Charity Fashion Shows. The clothes being provided are all amazingly good value, including French & Italian designer wear up to 75% discount, also high street brands such as Oliver Bonas, White Stuff, Next & Marks & Spencer. The clothes are going to be modelled by villagers of all ages, shapes and sizes and will be on sale at the end of the show. A range of accessories will also be on sale to complement the clothes you buy. A professional compere will guide us through the descriptions of each garment and there will be space to try clothes on before you buy. In addition to all this, there will be a bar serving wines & soft drinks and a superb raffle with tickets at only £1.

All this will be in aid of St. Peter’s church for their ongoing maintenance fund to keep this wonderful building alive and open for the community - heating costs are huge and there are always other outgoing costs. The church is there for everyone – not just for baptisms, christenings and funerals – and it would be a tragedy to see it closed due to lack of funds.
