About Us

HOPE CHURCH, Whiteley is a modern church now meeting at Cornerstone C of E Primary School at 10.30am on Sundays. We used to meet in the local Community Centre pre-COVID-19.

We look after the Church Without Walls Garden near the cinema as a place for the community to use for prayer and reflection.

We are a church that welcomes families.  Adventurers, our Sunday School group for pre-school and primary age children meets on 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays of the month during the morning service.  Babies and toddlers stay with their adults during the service - we enjoy having them with us and don't expect them to be silent!

Open Door meets in the chapel on Tuesday mornings from 10am to 11.45am for refreshments and the occasional slice of cake.  Whiteley Minis parent/carer baby and toddler group meets on Monday afternoons 1pm-2.30pm in Whiteley Community Centre, Gull Coppice.

We work closely with Cornerstone C of E Primary School where a number of church members are Foundation Governors and Rev Amy takes Collective Worship once a week.

When we can, Hope Church, Whiteley enjoys many social activities which they share with the community. Our aim is to be a sign of Hope in the wider community.
