He holds the diplomas of the Royal College of Organists, The Royal College of Music, The Royal Schools of Music and Trinity College of Music. He is also an Honorary Fellow of the Guild of Church Musicians. He was successively Assistant Organist at Rochester Cathedral; Assistant Director of Music at Cranbrook School and Organist at Cranbrook Parish Church; Head of Music at Tunbridge Wells Girls’ Grammar School; Director of Music at Coventry Cathedral & Music Tutor at Coventry University; Organist & Director of Music at Chester Cathedral; and Director of Music at Liverpool Cathedral.This fundraising event is sponsored by The Friends of Kent Churches in memory of John Briggs, who left a legacy to help support events such as this. Hello,A number of people have asked if St Mary's is co-ordinating help for Ukraine. In order for resources to get to where they are needed in the most efficient way we are promoting Christian Aid's as part of the Disasters Emergency Committee for online giving. We also have envelopes for cash donations in church.
