St Peter and St Oswald's

Welcome to St Peter's and St. Oswald's.

We are a welcoming parish church which seeks to serve our community by providing opportunities for worship and service to those in need.

The Revd Simon Oatridge was installed as Priest in charge on Monday 19th January 2026.  He has bought with him a graft team from All Saints.

Our service patten has changed to reflect our new worshiping community.

We are holding our Holy Communion Services in church at 9.00am. Followed by refreshments and then Morning Worship will be at 10.30am.

St. Peter's, Abbeydale is part of the Community of St. Peter and St. Oswald, the Parish Church for Abbeydale and Millhouses.

Safeguarding

Our parish of St Peter & St Oswald Sheffield is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Sheffield’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the our PSO Judith Price and please also go to the Safeguarding page or contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor Siân Checkley. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
