'I cling to you; your right hand upholds me.’ Psalm 63.8.Focusing on Psalm 63, in March’s Start the Month Bishop Paul and Sarah reflect on the psalmist's deep longing for more of the presence of God in a desolate season. They invite us to join in with the psalm as a prayer as it acknowledges that God is with us, upholding us in difficult and desperate moments. As well as recognising the presence of God in our own circumstances, Bishop Paul and Sarah encourage us to pray for peace in places of war, and particularly for the church across the Middle East.
Rev Liz Mack will be joining us from October and her Licensing Service & Installation is on Monday 29 September at All Saints’ Parish Church, Beckingham, at 7.00pm. All members of all the churches in the Benefice are invited to the service.
