He suffers with us and he suffers for us, once for all, on the cross.’In a special Start the Month for Good Friday, Bishop Paul and Sarah reflect on the significance of Easter at a time when there is a very difficult and dark backdrop of conflict, war and suffering in the wider world. Reading from Psalm 93, they explore the question ‘Where is God in the midst of all the brokenness and suffering we see or experience?’ They also share the promise in Psalm 34: ‘The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in Spirit.’Bishop Paul expresses a special thank you to all the congregations across the diocese at Easter, for their witness and ministry sharing the living hope of Jesus in every community.Watch the full message here:
