Stapleford Community will be gathering at Walter Parker (VC) Square, together with other local churches and uniformed organisations from Stapleford.
After the parade and service, you may join a number of post service venues. Tea/coffee will be available at the Equalized Club, the Con Club on the Square and the Old Cross (new home of the Stapleford Combined Services - a bagpiper will lead the way).

This service gathers in person every week and follows the Book of Common Prayer.

During Communion, we distribute the bread by dipping it in the wine, in line with the most recent guidelines from the Church of England. We invite everyone to join us in this meaningful practice.

Starting Wednesday September 24th, 7 to 8.30pm and continuing for 7 weeks, exploring the Creed, its meaning and challenges and its application today. Meeting at St Helen’s Church. All welcome to join in.

Join us for the Big Quiz Night . It's a fun quiz for teams of 4 to 6.
The meal is baked potatoes and toppings. Suggested donation £5, but of course you can donate as much as you like. All donations go to Tearfund.

Come and be part of our Youth Sundays! A space designed for young people to explore faith, build friendships, and have loads of fun together.

We start in the main church service and then head off partway through for snacks, games, and relaxed discussions about life, faith, and everything in between.

It’s a brilliant place to ask questions, grow in confidence, and connect with others your age in a friendly, welcoming environment.

Our all-age services are designed to be family-friendly and engaging for everyone! With interactive elements and activities at tables, we ensure that everyone can participate and enjoy the experience together.

Evening service with communion

Children’s Church runs in the hall during the main service.

Children begin the service in church with their parents or carers and are then taken to the hall by our Children's Church leaders. They are usually brought back to join the rest of the congregation at the end of the service. Parents are very welcome to accompany children who may feel shy or anxious.

Children’s Church is for ages 2–10, usually divided into two age groups: 2–5 years and 6–10 years.

Through Bible teaching, stories, games, videos, and crafts, children learn about God’s love and message in a way that’s fun, engaging, and age-appropriate.

We aim to make every session a joyful and meaningful experience!

BCP Communion

St Helen's Church is open for quiet reflection, light a candle, enjoy the building. Tea and coffee are served.

ABC Course, covering Alpha, Baptism and Confirmation. Starting Thurs 4th September in the annexe with an introduction to baptism and then continuing with the Alpha course, running weekly on Thursday evenings. Starts with a meal. Do register through the church website or contact the office if you want to join this course.
