About Us

Welcome to the Parish of St Stephen’s, Lindley. We’re a large parish serving a wide area including

Lindley, Oakes, Salendine Nook, Quarmby and parts of Marsh, Edgerton and Birchencliffe.

This is a vibrant and diverse area and we are a vibrant and inclusive church with a welcome for all (we became part of the Inclusive Church movement in 2018).  St Stephen’s is a place for regular Sunday & Tuesday worship, for festivals and celebrations and for the important moments in life when we need to act and speak our need for and search for God. 

We seek to be a Church where prayer is real and God is found – where people are equipped to go out into their communities and their world to find and share God with everyone.

(We also offer our Community Rooms for hire for parties and events and for regular use by community groups.)
