Information on our journey towards becoming Eco Church certified & details of our recycling offers and green activities.

• We collect unwanted glasses/spectacles (recycled via St Philip's church team).
• Due to costs/lack of funding we have stopped recycling of medicinal packaging - please check out the Recycle at Boots app/website for recycling options at their stores in Huddersfield/nationwide.
• Additional recycling offers (e.g. greetings cards after Christmas) are advertised via the biweekly notice sheet when available.
• Scrap Metal Collection Bringing in your scrap metal is another way to help us raise funds. We accept smaller scrap metal items e.g. clean food/drinks cans & also larger items. Please deposit all items in one of the two big white containers outside around the back of church. PLEASE do not throw the following items in our metal recycling bins: Batteries – including vapes / Flammable liquids – such as petrol, lighter fluid & spirits / Compressed gas canisters – such as patio or camping gas, aerosols or nitrous oxide. Kindly take them to your nearest HWRC or recycling point
