Alternatively, meet us in church from 10.30am for the communion service with Junior church
followed by coffee/tea & biscuits.

Tenebrae service for both churches at St Philip's Birchencliffe
Readings, music and prayers in this candlelit service where each candle is extinguished one by one, sending us into the darkness, ending with the promised light of Christ.

Morning Prayer will take place in St Stephen's church Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning during Holy Week.

19:00 A Simple Meal (shared meal with communion)
at Birchencliffe Community Centre

Meet at Salvation Army New Hey Road to begin walk at 9.45am.
Walking approximately 1 mile to Lindley Methodist Church (45 East St, Lindley, Huddersfield HD3 3ND), stopping for readings and prayer at churches en route. Lindley Methodist Church Service begins at 11am.

Prayers, hymns, laments and devotions as we face the reality of Jesus' sacrifice with death on the cross.

Wrap up warm and meet us outside the church as dawn is breaking to celebrate the risen Christ around the Easter Fire and to bring that light of Christ into the church. Followed by hot drinks!

Bring a flower to decorate the cross of the risen Christ as we celebrate this feast day together.
