Our Mission at St John the Evangelist Carlinghow is:

- To proclaim the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ;

- To show God's love to all who live in our parish and beyond;

- To know and honour God through prayer, study and celebration of the sacraments

ALMIGHTY and everlasting God,
You govern all of creation;
Hear now the prayers of your people,
And grant to this parish of
St John the Evangelist Carlinghow,
And to its church,
Those things needful for its spiritual welfare.
Confirm us in your truth,
Strengthen us in our faith,
And renew us in your love,
That we and all people of this place
May come to know and adore you
The one True God.
