Under the banner "We believe that 'Ponies are the best medicine'", Dial Wood Carriage Driving for the Disabled offers:
Carriage Driving - for ambulant people or those in wheelchairs
Riding Therapy on real ponies or a horse simulator
Care of Ponies
Afternoon Tea reminiscence or walking with ponies
Volunteering
In all these people can feel a connection with ponies and share in the life of the Centre. Everyone can spent time out in the countryside at Dial Wood and benefit from nature and the fresh air.
We shall be collecting for the charity at our Tuesday Lent Lunches and at the end of Lent, where what we have saved through our Lenten denials will also be contributed.
