Lent was different this year as we could not run undertake any face-to-face groupwork. For the technically brave though there was a Lent lunch online and a chance to socialise remotely - and donate towards Talkthru. The PCC will be asked to donate towards the charity too.
Our priest, Fr George, who is also chair of Trustees of Talkthru, says - 'Like many charities, the pandemic has meant fundraising for Talkthru has been difficult, and competition for grants has been fierce. We are grateful to St Saviour's for their generosity. It will help support those who struggle with the death of a baby and combat the isolation which often goes with such a loss.'
