St Giles' 3:16 (Junior Church Group)

St Giles 3:16 is the name we give to our group of young people who meets in church on Sunday mornings during the Sunday Mass at 10:15am.

Our Vision

‘For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that all who believed in him may not die but have eternal life’. Based on John Chapter 3 Verse 16

Our young people should be encouraged to:

Shine their light in the world
Show everyone Kindness, friendship and respect
Enjoy learning about our faith both here and throughout the world.

We meet during the service on Sundays to explore what our faith means to children from age 3 to 16.

We want to encourage children to explore all aspects of God’s world today, at the time of the prophets and when Jesus walked on earth with his disciples.

We want to encourage children to discuss and ask questions, including the Big Questions:

Why we are here?
Who is Jesus?
What is God like?
Why are people destroying the world God made?
We want to encourage children to want to make a difference to the world they live in.

We have a variety of learning activities for children of different ages.

If parents of younger children want to join us, they are encouraged to do so.

Everyone is welcome.
