Vicar's message

WELCOME MESSAGE FROM THE VICAR

As our beautiful church is set in the heart of a beautiful village in the lovely Hampshire countryside we aim to be a flourishing community of faith at the heart of a flourishing village. The church is open every day during the day and anyone is welcome to come in and enjoy this beautiful space in the centre of the village. We are open for services every Sunday in the year as advertised. On Thursday evenings we have a Home Group at 7.30 pm at the New Vicarage along the Romsey Road. You will have a warm and friendly welcome.

Our activities are embedded in village life – with bells ringing every Sunday, the summer and winter fair, a marquee market in August, Harvest supper and festivals, Remembrance Day outside at the memorial, Christmas carols around the village, soup and sherry on Saturdays around Christmas and into the new year and more – and the village Magazine each month celebrates it all.

We believe that the most important thing in the world is to get connected to God who made this world and each one of us in it. We believe he loves us and we can find peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ who died for us and has sent us his Holy Spirit to help us to live more and more as he wants us to live. We want to share this new life that he gives us with those around us.

If you want to talk about faith or have any questions about God please contact me or any of the staff or members of the church. For baptisms weddings and funerals please get in touch.
