Getting Married on Sark

Sark is possibly one of the most romantic, beautiful and perfect places for a wedding. The Island  resident Minister, Revd David Stolton can arrange and officiate at a marriage in either of the local churches ( St Peter's or the Methodist church) or in other venues around the island, from the tiny Seigneurie Chapel to a wedding on la Coupee, at the harbour or on a favourite beach or clifftop ( with permission from the landowner, of course!). Equally a wedding can be arranged through the Ecclesiastical Court in Guernsey if you would prefer the Dean of Guernsey and Vicar of Sark, The Very Revd. Matthew Trick to marry you at St Peter's Church.  With a horse drawn carriage to take you to the venue and superb choices for dining and reception venues, the island is the idyllic wedding destination.

Initial enquiries should be made to the island Minister  ( 07839700020) who can then give you all the information about the application procedures for whichever choice you make, arrange an initial meeting ( in person or virtually) and guide you through each stage, as well as your service choices to make the ceremony very personally yours. Revd. David can also put you in touch with venues, caterers, flower arrangers, photographers, organist, musicians, accommodation providers and anyone else you feel you may need to make your day as special as you would like it.

The Dean and non-resident Vicar of Sark, The Very Revd Matthew Trick may also be contacted (07781166090) if you would like to make an application directly  through the Ecclesiastical Court  for him to take the wedding.
