Most Saturdays we show a family film ( mainly for the children, but parents and adults are welcome) with free entry, popcorn and drinks. Visitors are very welcome to join our Sark children. Our weekly ecumenical prayer meeting when we meet to pray for our community, the world and the churches mission is open to all to attend. We use the Methodist Prayer Handbook as a guide

Parents and toddlers ( and babies) group

A fun time for our little ones to play together and time to chat and relax for parents and carers. There are plenty of toys available, comfy sofas and coffee, everyone welcome. Our Minister often drops by to say helllo .

School Assembly

Our Minister greatly enjoys leading an assembly at Sark School during term time, the children seem to enjoy it too!
This is often followed by a meeting with the Head of School

Methodist family service

Monthly. Every Fourth Sunday at for 1 hour

Sark Methodist Church, During winter months our services are held in the Sanctuary Centre hall behind the church.

Our fourth Sunday services at Chapel are often led by our Local Preacher, Lorraine. All are welcome and we serve coffee after the service.

Matins

Monthly. Every Fourth Sunday at for 1 hour

Our traditional Matins service, with choir and sermon and some sung responses is usually held on the fourth Sunday of each month. All are welcome, especially singers!

Methodist Communion Service

Our monthly communion service at the Methodist Church, in Methodist tradition, may be from the standard Methodist liturgy ( The Worship Book) or may be a less formal, more intimate service, this varies from month to month. All are welcome at the Lord's table and to join us for coffee after the service.

United Service at Chapel followed by bring and share meal

Monthly. Every Second Sunday at for 2 hours, 15 mins

On the second Sunday of each month there is no service at St Peter's but members of both congregations gather at the Methodist Church for a service followed by a "bring and share" meal in the Sanctuary Centre Hall. Visitor's are very welcome to join the meal, there is usually plenty to go around!

Sale and Afternoon Tea

A traditional afternoon tea with cream teas, cakes and other goodies, accompanied by a sale of goods will be held at Sark Sanctuary Centre , 2pm Sat 18th May, everyone welcome

Baptism Service

Sark Sea Service 2024

Our annual Sea Service at beautiful Creux Harbour, celebrating the sea ,all who work or play on or in it, and all that it provides together with a blessing of the boats. The RNLI , Flying Christine and local boats will be in attendance together with our band to accompany the singing. Everyone welcome and visitors are invited to look around the Flying Christine and Lifeboat as well.

St Peter's Church Fete

Our annual Fete, raising funds for St Peter's church is on the August Bank Holiday afternoon and is held in the Vicarage gardens. This is always a very popular and fun afternoon for islanders and visitors alike, everyone is welcome!
