This year our Annual Sea Service will include all of Sark's emergency services as well as the Lifeboat, Flying Christine and other boats working in and around Sark, giving thanks and blessing all who work to support the island and keep it safe,including, of course, Isle of sark Shipping ( who will be working so can't bring a boat!). There will be an Emergency Services open day to follow the service, no doubt some will take a dip, and Harbour Cafe will be available for food. Come and enjoy this specil day on Sark.

Our "Fifth Sunday" family services which we follow with a bring and share meal and time of chatting and sharing together. All welcome, and there is always plenty of food for all! Our fifth Sundays are an opportunity for both of our churches to gather in worship together and then share fellowship. There is no service at St Peter's on a fifth Sunday ( unless notified otherwise)

Our weekly ecumenical prayer meeting when we meet to pray for our community, the world and the churches mission is open to all to attend. We use the Methodist Prayer Handbook as a guide. Occasionally this will be at alternative venues, usually announced in our services.

So you thought Pancake Tuesday was once a year? This year, during the summer holidays we're serving pancakes /crepes with a choice of fillings on the picnic tables outside the Sanctuary Centre every Tuesday evening ! Come along for free pancakes, musics and good company.

A fun time for our little ones to play together and time to chat and relax for parents and carers. New time so that parents/carers can go straight from dropping older children at school.There are plenty of toys available, comfy sofas and coffee, everyone welcome. Our Minister often drops by to say helllo .

Most Saturdays we show a family film ( mainly for the children, but parents and adults are welcome) with free entry, popcorn and drinks. Visitors are very welcome to join our Sark children. Look on our Facebook page ( @sarkchurches) and for posters around the island for this weeks film! ( Some weeks there is no film, so always check)

We restart Praise group for the autumn, which will alternate on Tuesdays with our new Bible study group. Food, fellowship, informal praise and song- all are very welcome. 6.30 for food, 7.30 praise time starts

What is a Covenant Service? It's a service when we renew our vows to live a Christian life, to follow God's laws of love and service. It's a special service in the Methodist calendar which on Sark we celebrate at the beginning of the "Methodist Year" in September. Come and take part and learn about this special service of promises. Followed by coffee and refreshments, all are very welcome

We're starting up Bible study group. Each week we'll gather in the upstairs lounge at the Sanctuary centre, a comfortable and informal gathering, plenty of coffee or tea and we'll be looking at different aspects or passages in the Bible, often with a video introduction or similar. Come and find out more about the best selling book of all time. We plan to hold this roughly fortnightly when there is not Praise Group- keep an eye on social media and the website to check dates

A more informal service over breakfast with video, worship songs and discussion, all are welcome . If there is an occasional united service at St Peter's this service will not take place
