St James' Church, Bilbrough.

Welcome to the ACNY website for St James' Church, Bilbrough. This church is part of the Parish of Marston Moor situated just west of York in the New Ainsty Deanery in the Diocese of York. Within the Parish there are five churches which are all situated in beautiful rural villages in North Yorkshire, the details of the other four churches can be found in the 'more information' section listed on the left.

Bilbrough is about half a mile from the Roman road from York to Tadcaster. Roman remains have been found here. Being on a moraine about 150 feet above sea level, the village commands extensive views over the flat vale of York.

We hope that you are able to find the information that you require, If you would like to speak to someone about the use of the church or coming to one of our services please get in touch.
