As part of our Eco Church activity, come and join us litter picking around the streets of South Bank in York on Sunday 5th October, as part of York Environmental Festival.
We will meet at 1:45pm outside St Chad's Church on Campleshon Road. All equipment will be provided. We will down tools at St Clement's Church at 3pm where refreshments will be provided. Sign up to tell us if you are coming, so we can make sure we have enough litter pickers etc.

If you don't want to litter pick but want to help, we would love a few volunteers to help with refreshments at St Clements. We are also going to put out a table to join in with the Street Re-Cycle. If you have any items you would like to offer as part of this then contact Nicola Bray or Kathy Bowes.

Safeguarding

Privacy Policy & Safeguarding
Our Parish Safeguarding Representative is Peter Phillips and may be contacted by email at [email protected] or phone 07787336413

Safeguarding means the action that St. Chad’s takes to promote a safer culture. This means we will promote the safeguarding and welfare of children, young people and adults, work to prevent abuse from occurring, seek to protect those that are at risk of being abused and respond well to those that have been abused. We will take care to identify where a person may present a risk to others and offer support to them whilst taking steps to mitigate such risks.

St. Chad’s affirms the ‘Whole Church’ approach to safeguarding. This approach encompasses a commitment to consistent policy and practice across teams and that everyone associated with St. Chad’s, who comes into contact with children, young people and adults, has a role to play.

St. Chad’s will take appropriate steps to maintain a safer environment for all and to practice fully and positively Christ’s Ministry towards children, young people and adults; to respond sensitively and compassionately to their needs in order to help keep them safe from harm.
