The Chosen watch party

Occurring
for 1 hour, 30 mins
Venue
St Clement's Church
Address
St Clement's Church, Scarcroft Road York, YO23 1NE

Come and see the series that's reached millions around the world. This is a multi-season drama about the life of Jesus, seen through the eyes of those who knew Him best. Set in first-century Israel under Roman rule, The Chosen offers an intimate, authentic look at His ministry, miracles, and the people forever changed by His presence.

We are going to meet and watch some episodes together on a big screen in the beautiful St Clement's Church, with pizza and drinks, and then chat about it, with space for questions and to explore what it says in the Bible about what we've watched.

It will be a great way to brighten dark Wednesday evenings in January!

Safeguarding

Privacy Policy & Safeguarding
Our Parish Safeguarding Representative is Peter Phillips and may be contacted by email at [email protected] or phone 07787336413

Safeguarding means the action that St. Chad’s takes to promote a safer culture. This means we will promote the safeguarding and welfare of children, young people and adults, work to prevent abuse from occurring, seek to protect those that are at risk of being abused and respond well to those that have been abused. We will take care to identify where a person may present a risk to others and offer support to them whilst taking steps to mitigate such risks.

St. Chad’s affirms the ‘Whole Church’ approach to safeguarding. This approach encompasses a commitment to consistent policy and practice across teams and that everyone associated with St. Chad’s, who comes into contact with children, young people and adults, has a role to play.

St. Chad’s will take appropriate steps to maintain a safer environment for all and to practice fully and positively Christ’s Ministry towards children, young people and adults; to respond sensitively and compassionately to their needs in order to help keep them safe from harm.
