Accessibility

There is no toilet at the Church but there is a toilet at the Village Hall in Mowthorpe Lane a 5 minute walk away. Also at the Village Shop Café for patrons.

There is car parking on the Lane outside the church and at the Village Hall Car Park on Mowthorpe Lane for large events.

It is a short level walk from the car parking on the Lane outside the Church into the Church.

The Church is accessible for wheelchairs and mobility scooters as there is only one very shallow step into the church porch from the lane and no steps in the Nave.

Music and Worship

The bells can be tolled but not rung full circle due to the fragility of the bell frame and tower.

We have a regular organist who plays at most of our services and organists can usually be arranged for special services.

Our lay led Morning/Evening Prayer Services on the third Sunday of each month is BCP

There is a Choir in the village but is not specifically a Church Choir.


Groups, Courses and Activities

Terrington CE VA Primary School offers early years provision for children 3 years and over.

Guided tours of the church can be arranged for a donation to the upkeep of the Church. Please use the Contact Us page to arrange.

The church is open every day of the Year between about 10.00 am and 4 pm. If you are making a special journey to visit the church it is best to contact us in advance so we can make sure it is available for you.

We use Fairtrade products.

Terrington Village is a conservation area and is situated in the Howardian Hills AONB. There are miles of footpaths for walking from the Village as well as a Village Shop/Café. Cycling too is very popular on the quiet country lanes.
