Church activities during the week


Cygnets

For children under school age (0-4+), accompanied by their Parents / Grandparents / Carers / Childminders.

We meet every Tuesday morning during school term time from 10.30 am until 12 noon at St Barnabas Church Hall, Main Street, Swanland. Our sessions are fun and interactive and include free play time, crafts, stories, and singing.

Cost including refreshments - £2 per adult and one child, 50p extra for each additional child.

Singing at St Barnabas

7.30pm every Wednesday

A time of praising God through song.   We also lead the sung worship in church on the 5th Sunday of the month at 10am.

Grandparents & Parents prayer group ‘GAPP’

10.00 am on the third Friday of each month.

Come together to pray for family and friends.

Salad Bowl

A monthly contemplation group in Swanland, at 11:00 am on the fourth Friday of the month. Stay for a shared lunch at 12.30 pm.

Men's Breakfast

Every First Saturday at 8 a.m. for 1 hour, 30 mins

We start with breakfast and then have an informal group conversation about the Bible, our faith and how it relates to life today

Women's Bible Study

Every Third Saturday at 9 a.m. for 1 hour, 15 mins

We start with light refreshments in The Lounge, and then have time to learn more about our faith, using a Christian book as a basis for discussion, and to pray.
