Church of England Diocese of York Ormesby

About Us

The site of St Cuthberts church dates back to over 1000 years ago.  The current church is late victorian and is picturesque, which makes it one of the most popular places to get married in the United Kingdom.  It is a friendly and welcoming church and we welcome people of all ages, and it is of a modern catholic tradition.  Each Sunday there is a sung Eucharist at 9am, followed by a Family Service at 10:30am.  On the 4th Sunday of the month, there is a Family Communion Service at 10:30am.  At the sung Eucharist we have traditional hymns but we try to incorporate more modern songs and an informal style at the 10:30am service.
