Recognising that some people do not wish to come to church in current circumstances, while to others being able to attend services in person is very important, we have amended the service pattern for the rest of January and February. These changes hopefully offer something to those who want to attend and those who would rather watch online.
At the moment, St John's Church is the only church in the West Worcester Group from which we can live-stream due to the need to have a reliable and fast internet connection.
Where the main Sunday service at St John's is Morning Prayer (second and fourth Sundays), that will be a streamed service with live congregation. On the first and third Sundays there will be a Eucharist at 10.30am for personal attendance, plus a streamed Evening Prayer at 5pm. This is set out by date below.
The link for the streamed services will be circulated the day before, so those not on the e-mail distribution list will need to contact Phil Bradford (Vicar) to be added.
Tuesday 10am Eucharists at St John's and Thursday 10.30am Eucharists at St Michael's will continue (except for the 16th and 18th February as there will instead be a service on Ash Wednesday).
Please note that this plan may have to change if regulations change, and we will review the situation towards the end of February.
