We are preparing for a big weekend of celebration on 20th - 24th June as part of our Tower 500 events when we mark the occasion of our church bell tower NOT being completed! There is plenty for all the family. Starting with a Tudor Treasures evening of tales, tunes and trivia from 500 years ago by our village Dramatic Society on 20th at 7pm. This heralds five days of flower festival continuing with the Tudor theme. On Saturday there will be refreshments all day from 10am and tours of the church with 'Cardinal Wolsey' at 11am and 2pm, with live music from 10:30. On the Sunday from 11am there will be lots of entertainment for all the family, as we welcome time travellers from 1525 to a Tudor Fayre. There will be bell demonstrations, historical dancing, refreshments and a bar, plus lots to entertain the children. The flower festival continues throughout, and finishes on Wednesday 24th June. Refreshments will be available every day until 4pm, except for the Tuesday which ends at 2pm.
