Opening

St Mary's is a beautiful village church, the earliest parts of which date from around 1210 AD. It has important and fascinating wall-paintings which date from the late 1300's.

The heating system and facilities have recently been updated, so visitors will find us warm and welcoming - literally and figuratively!

The church building is open for private prayer on most days during the hours of daylight

The churchyard is always accessible and is the starting point for several marked National Footpath Walks

The car park to the east of the church is open during services or when there are special events at the church,

Getting here

The village of Padbury is on the A413 just over 2 miles south of Buckingham.  Approaching the village from Buckingham, the church is the second turning on the left as you enter the village and is signposted.  It is about 15 miles north of  Aylesbury.  From this direction, Church Lane is immediately after the New Inn which is on the right hand side as you approach the far end of the village.
